Welcome to our site
Located within Abbey Park at the heart of Leicester, Abbey Park Miniature Railway is maintained and operated by volunteers from Leicester Society of Model Engineers Ltd.
Train Rides
We plan to offer train rides two Sunday afternoons a month and Bank Holiday Monday afternoons from 29th March 2026.

Please check our Upcoming Events calendar and Facebook page for opening times​. Opening is dependent on the weather and volunteer availability.
Rides cost £1.50 per person with children aged 4 and under riding for free. Cash or card payments are accepted.
